Nondestructive Testing in Manufacture of Fastener

The unqualified fasteners can be found as early as possible by application of NDT technology, thus reducing manufacturing cost, improving manufacturing process and the reliability of fasteners. This paper introduces the characteristics and application scope of the NDT methods used in fasteners, and describes how to determine the timing of NDT and how to select NDT methods.
