    Verification of the Reliability of Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing of Fatigue Cracks in Stainless Steel Small Diameter Tubes

    • Welds of 15 stainless steel small tubes were under test by PA, DR and PT respectively, and furthermore, a summary and comparison analysis was made for the related test results. It was found that the phased array ultrasonic test was able to trail the stainless steel tube root fatigue crack, both in positioning and in quantitative evaluation, and its crack detection rate was quite reliable.
