    Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) of Submarine Pipeline Butt Girth Welding Seam

    • In order to meet the inspection requirements of casing pipe butt weld of submarine pipeline, the Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) procedure was designed by referring to standard and a high-accuracy bend scanner was manufactured. By contrasting the inspection ability of PAUT and Automatic Ultrasonic Testing (AUT) method, it was concluded that the reliability and efficiency of PAUT method could meet the field inspection requirements.
