The Characteristics of Ultrasonic Testing Signals of Butt Welds with Chamfer in Pipelines

This paper analyzes, compares and comprehensively judges the characteristics of ultrasonic reflection signal of several kinds of of the chamfers inner the pipeline with the signal characteristics of the non-penetration and the non-fusion weld, so the ultrasonic signal reflection characteristics are confirmed and validated by the test instance, which can avoid misjudgment. The results are available for peer reference.
