    Radiography Testing for TC4 Alloy Additive Manufacturing Parts in 15 mm Thickness

    • The paper carries out research on radiography testing process and its sensitivity for TC4 alloy additive manufacturing parts of 15 mm thickness with natural defect. The test results were verified by the use of 90° overturn testing and industry computed tomography. Radiography testing can detect pore defect of 0.4-0.5 mm in 15 mm thickness TC4 alloy additive manufacturing parts. However, comparing with radiography testing, industrial computed tomography greatly avails for positioning and quantifying the defects.
