    Ultrasonic Examination for the Stress Corrosion Cracking of Elbows Inner Surface

    • The stress corrosion cracking often occurs in the elbows of nuclear power plant durning operation. Ultrasonic probes, comparative test blocks, and scanning methods are designed. Comparative analysis and tests are conducted. The study illustrates the reliability of ultrasonic testing technology and forms an ultrasonic inspection process specifically for this elbow, which ensures detection sensitivity and resolution.
