    The Detection of Seepage Hazard in Sluice Gate Bottom Plate Using GPR

    • The paper aims to introduce the working principle of the ground penetrating radar (GPR) and to apply the GPR to inspect the seepage hazard in the sluice gate bottom plate of the water conservancy pivot in Shakou, Fushan of Guangdong. The GRP image characteristics of seepage hazard and its qualitative identification methods were analyzed. Test results showed that the proposed inspection means can effectively detect the seepage hazard.
