    Testing Technique of Steel Reinforced Aluminum Bunched Wires by Using Combined MFL and DDR

    • A combined detection based on magnetic flux leakage and DDR (Direct Digital Radiography) for quality assurance during ACSR (Aluminum Conductors Steel-Reinforced) installation was put forward in this paper. First the system uses magnetic flux leakage method to detect the steel core, and then it uses DDR to review the defects. The results show that the magnetic flux leakage and X-ray digital imaging testing method can be used in qualitative and quantitative detection of the steel rainforced aluminum bunched wires.
