The Manufacture of AUT Testing Block and its Quality Control for Large Diameter and Long Distance Oil and Gas Transportation Pipelines

This article is to take the automatic ultrasonic testing of large diameter and long distance oil and gas transportation pipeline (AUT) as an example and to introduce the design method of the testing blocks. It also shows the related functions of the artificial reflectors in the blocks. The quality control measures in manufacturing and testing of AUT testing blocks are outlined. It can provide reference for testing personnel who use block.
