Lamb Wave Characteristic Analysis of Anisotropic Multilayer Composite Using Finite Element Intrinsic Frequency Method

    • A method based on the finite element intrinsic frequency method for solving the Lamb wave dispersion curve in an anisotropic composite plate is proposed. The plate structure can be simplified according to the Floquet periodic boundary conditions. For the symmetrically laminated plates with the plate thickness direction, the symmetric (antisymmetric) mode of the dispersion curve is obtained by using the symmetric (antisymmetric) boundary condition. The finite element simulation and experimental measurements were carried out for the fiber reinforced multilayered composite plate, and the validity of the method was verified.
