Influence of Surface State on Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection of Aluminium Alloy Casting
-
Abstract
In order to analyze the effect of different surface states on the fluorescence penetration test of aluminum alloy castings, the aluminum alloy fatigue crack specimens treated by blowing sand and burnishing are used for the comparison experimentation. The results indicate that the cracks are easily blocked and undetected by blowing sand, whereas the defects will not be obviously blocked by burnish.
