    Influencing Parameters of Laser Shearography Detection Sensitivity of Honeycomb Sandwich Construction

    • This paper described the laser shearography detection system.Combined with the characteristics of satellite with honeycomb sandwich construction,the honeycomb sandwich construction sample which contained prescient defects were designed and made,and experimental researched on the Laser shearography detection method of the honeycomb sandwich construction sample was carried out.Influence of different parameters to the detection sensitivity of debonding defects was analyzed.The results showed that the primary parameters which influenced the detection sensitivity of laser shearography detection included shear length,shear direction,loading time and detection range.Optimized parameters were employed to detect the prescient defects sample.The results showed that the detection sensitivity of debonding defects by laser shearography has been up to 10 mm diameter size.
